Through his encounters, S\u00e9bastien Androt has developed close relationships with contemporary artists whose work resonates with him and whom he is keen to showcase in his gallery. These include Youn Cho\u2019s resin figures, Alain Bellino\u2019s decorative bronze objects, Jean-Philippe Rigotti\u2019s 24-carat gold leaf engravings of felines, and Elena Di Giovanni\u2019s organic sculptures.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A passion for beauty, enduring and untarnished, passed down from father to son<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e9bastien Androt represents the fourth generation of a family with a passion for art and fine objects. The story begins in Paris in 1930, with great-grandfather Eug\u00e8ne Androt. His two sons, Pierre and Georges, continued the family tradition by settling in Monaco in 1948, then in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, where the gallery experienced a tremendous boom in 1952, under the directon of Pierre Androt, working alongside his wife Jeanne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very quickly, the establishment became a must-visit destination on the Riviera. It attracted numerous international figures, collectors, interior designers\u2026 The family legacy was passed to their son Pierrick in 1980, then to their grandson S\u00e9bastien in 2008, who continues to uphold its heritage while bringing a renewed perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While deeply attracted to antiques, he also nurtures a strong commitent to contemporary art. He invites contemporary artists to exhibit alongside historical pieces, thereby creating a dialogue between the past and the present. Since July 2025, his son Brett has joined him, continuing the family tradition.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
